Black Pig Border was formed in 1986 in Langley Mill/Eastwood on the Nottingham and Derby border. We perform our own style of Border Morris, including both traditional dances and some of our own invention. We are a mixed group, of both female and male dancers and musicians, who wear brightly coloured tailcoats and top hats; all festooned with feathers, flowers, ribbons and bells.

We would remind readers that although we ceased to be a 'black face' side in 2019. Black Pig Border has *never* condoned any form of racism, or any other negative 'isms. We are just a group of dancers and musicians, of any race, colour, age, size, sexual persuasion etc. simply out there to entertain, and have fun, at no-one's expense but our own!

Note: We always try and respond to enquiries within a day or so but the internet can be fickle so, if you haven't had a reply to something, please try again. We never knowingly ignore you!
